Course Description

The use of telemedicine for diagnosis, now called “telediagnosis” or “TeleDx”, at this scale is extraordinary and creates a pressing need to understand the implications of this transformation on the quality and safety of patient diagnosis.

Here we will cover the core concepts, technologies of creating successful diagnosis processes within a telemedical context. We will cover how artificial intelligence and machine learning can improve the efficiency and reduce errors in the diagnosis process of patients and how this can benefit patient safety and prevent situations harmful to the patient.
